How to get to the festival

The Luminosity Beach Festival 2023 will take place at Beachclub Bernies in Zandvoort (Boulevard Barnaart 65, 2041 JA, Zandvoort, The Netherlands) from Thursday June 22 till Sunday June 25.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
We do recommend visitors of the festival to come with public transport if possible.

Zandvoort has a trainstation and there is a bus stop (bus line 81 or 84) right in front of the venue. The name of the busstation is “Riche”, which is the old name of the beachclub. You can plan your trip via https://9292.nl (English available as well!). If you prefer to walk, it takes about 30 minutes to walk from the trainstation of Zandvoort to Bernie’s Beachclub. Just make sure to follow the signs.

IMPORTANT!
Please note that from Saturday June 24 until Monday June 26 there will be railway maintenance between Amsterdam Central Station – Amsterdam Sloterdijk – Haarlem – Zandvoort.

Due to the maintenance the timetable between the train stations of Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Haarlem has been adjusted. During those days the train from Amsterdam will stop at the train station of Haarlem and from there busses will be available to bring travelers to Zandvoort.

During the Luminosity Beach Festival 2023, a total of 4 trains per hour will run from Zandvoort to Haarlem until 20:00. Between 20.00 – 00.56 there will be a total 2 trains per hour. From Haarlem you can change trains in the direction of Amsterdam or take a bus to Schiphol Airport.

Well prepared on the road? Plan your journey in the NS App or via NS.nl shortly before departure. At this moment the travel planner does not yet provide the correct information, but the team from NS told us this will be updated in the coming days. Are you planning to travel back late at night? Please don’t take the risk to get the last train, since it can be very busy. Not all destinations are still accessible late in the evening (if you are still traveling from Haarlem or Amsterdam).

To avoid a long queue at the ticket machine, please be sure to load sufficient balance on your card in advance (also for the return journey).
If you don’t have a public transport card yet, you can also check in and out with your debit card or with your mobile banking app on your smartphone, or buy your ticket online.

You can plan your trip via https://www.ns.nl or via https://9292.nl

BICYCLE:
If you come by bicycle, please make sure to follow the signs and park your bike in the bicycle racks which are available at the boulevard near the festival location. Bikes which are not properly parked will be removed!

PARKING:
If you still decide to come by car, please keep in mind that especially during sunny days the beach is a very busy place with lots of visitors. This means the boulevard only has a very limited amount of parking spots available! Always make sure to follow the instructions from the traffic controllers!

You can find all information about parking in Zandvoort here: https://www.visitzandvoort.com/parking-in-zandvoort

Safe travels and we hope to see you all soon!
