If you have a question regarding the rescheduled Luminosity Beach Festival of 2021, we kindly request you to make sure you read our FAQ section first before emailing us. Most answers could be found below. Thank you very much.

Why is the Luminosity Beach Festival of 2021 not taking place?
Because of the ongoing worldwide Coronavirus outbreak the Dutch government currently doesn’t allow any festivals until the start of July. That also means that our beloved beach festival in June, also can not take place.

When will the Luminosity Beach Festival 2022 take place?
The new dates for 2022, will be from Thursday June 23 till Sunday June 26 at Bernie’s Beachclub in Zandvoort. Also the afterparty at Club Panama in Amsterdam we had planned for June 2021, will move to next year (Sunday June 26, 2022).

Will the ticket I bought for the 2021 edition, still be valid for 2022?
If you bought a ticket for the Luminosity Beach Festival of 2021, this ticket will still be valid for the rescheduled event that will be held in June 2022. You won’t get a new ticket, your current 2021 ticket remains a valid entrance ticket for the Luminosity Beach Festival in June 2022. Also tickets bought for the previously rescheduled Luminosity Beach Festival of 2020 will remain valid for the 2022 edition. So make sure to keep your ticket at a safe place!

I bought a hardcopy ticket at the beach festival in 2019 for the 2020 edition, is my hardcopy ticket still valid for the Luminosity Beachfestival of 2022?
Yes, if you have a hardcopy ticket for the Luminosity Beach Festival of 2020, this ticket will still be valid for the rescheduled event that will be held in June 2022. So you won’t get a new ticket, your current 2020 ticket remains a valid entrance ticket for the Luminosity Beach Festival in June 2022. So make sure to keep your ticket at a safe place!

I won’t be able to make it to the Luminosity Beach Festival in 2022. What can I do now?
We’re sorry to read you can’t make it. If you can not make it to the Luminosity Beach Festival of 2022, but want to keep your ticket, you can exchange it for a voucher. Those vouchers will remain valid for a period of 3 years (so until 2025!).

I won’t be able to make it to the Luminosity Beach Festival in 2022, but I bought a hardcopy ticket at the beachfestival in 2019. How can I claim a refund for my hardcopy ticket?
If you bought a hardcopy ticket and would like to claim a refund, kindly get in touch with us via email:  info @ luminosity-events.nl. We’re trying to answer your email in 48 hours, but kindly keep in mind that due to the high amount of e-mails it can take a bit longer. We’re going to make sure you will get your refund, but we do ask you for your patience and understanding.

I bought a ticket for the Luminosity Beach Festival 2021 Afterparty at Club Panama, will this ticket still be valid for next year?
We also reschedule the afterparty from June 27, 2021 to next year. The new date will be Sunday June 26, 2022. Tickets remain valid for the new date, you don’t have to purchase a new ticket.

I won’t be able to make it to the Luminosity Beach Festival and / or the afterparty next year, how can I claim a refund?
We do offer refunds via our ticketpartner Paylogic / SeeTickets. You can claim a refund via this link. All refund requests have currently been processed. New requests will be processed in July 2022. It may take 3-6 weeks for transfers to be received on your account.

What if I purchased a ticket via another channel than the Luminosity website?
We can only refund tickets that have been purchased via our own official channels (the Luminosity website / See Tickets (formally known as Paylogic)). If you bought your ticket via a second-hand website, please contact them for more information. Luminosity unfortunately cannot advise about tickets that were bought via second-hand parties.

Can I already buy tickets for the Luminosity Beach Festival of 2022?
Tickets for the Luminosity Beach Festival of 2022 are available via https://luminosity-events.nl/tickets/

What about the accommodation and / or flights I booked?
Luminosity doesn’t offer accommodation or travel packges. We advice you to contact the service you used to book your accommodation and / or flights. We expect companies to be flexible in these times and hopefully you will be able to move your booking to June 2022. Otherwise check with your travel insurance and see what they will be able to do for you.

We also like you to consider the following; Our industry relies on events going ahead – this is a difficult time for the dance industry across the world as we have to cancel events to protect the public. Unfortunately this will be the second time we won’t be able to host our beloved beach festival. It has been over a year since we had any events, so in these extraordinary circumstances, we are asking those who can afford it, to hold on to their ticket for the rescheduled event next year and not request a refund for cancelled/postponed events. In doing so, you are supporting us so we are able to still cover the costs which have already been spent in setting up the event, which will help keep our scene afloat for when the pandemic ends. We’d like to reiterate: we are only asking those who are in the financial position to not cancel their ticket to do so, we realise in these difficult times this won’t be possible for everyone.
